Twig luncheon & auction planned

The public is invited to attend the Myers Twig Association's annual luncheon and auction at Cutter's Restaurant on Saturday, May 20. Carol Ritter, a columnist with the Democrat and Chronicle, will be the guest auctioneer at the event. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m.

The auction features items donated by local merchants and supporters of Myers Hospital including works of art, antiques, services, gift certificates for restaurants, stores and business, handmade items, jewelry, goodie baskets, and more. Guests may bid on unusual items such as the services of a clown for a child's birthday party.

Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at the Myers Tree Top Shop, 6600 Middle Road, Sodus; by contacting a Twig Association member; or by calling Elaine Brockmyer at 315.587.9337. Proceeds of the event will be used to support the programs and services of ViaHealth of Wayne.

The Myers Twig Association consists of more than 200 members who support the programs and services of ViaHealth of Wayne. The Twig Association has been active at Myers Hospital since 1956. To find out more about the Twig Association, contact the Twig Association/Volunteer office at 315.483.3207.
