The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to announce a brand new course offering. Pet First Aid for cats and dogs is a nationally recognized course, for which participants receive lifetime certification.

The three-hour course includes: How to recognize an emergency, standard first aid techniques for your pet; and hands-on CPR practice for cats and small to giant breed dogs.

The course cost is $25 and includes a companion book entitled Pet First Aid, Cats and Dogs. Class size is limited to 12 participants.

The course will be held on Monday, June 5 from 6-9 p.m. at the Wayne County Red Cross Chapter office, 165 E. Union St., Newark.
