Crusoe Island Foods is relaxing rest stop

On May 27 at 10 a.m. Crusoe Island Natural Foods invites the public to its new take-out food service.

There will be Hershey's hard ice cream, slices of home-baked pizza, and refreshing cold beverages from the Crusoe Island Natural Foods Store. Relax at the comfortable, shaded picnic area overlooking the wide panorama of the Cayuga Lake flood plain.

Located at the north end of the Cayuga Wine Trail on Rt. 89 (four miles south of Savannah), and in the middle of the Northern Montezuma Wetlands, Crusoe Island is a convenient and congenial rest stop for tourists, campers, boaters, nature lovers of all sorts, and the local community.

Store hours will be 10 a.m. through 9 p.m. seven days a week, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.
