Retirement party for John Joyce There will be a dinner honoring retiring John Joyce of Sodus, now employed by the Lyons Central School District as Dean of Students.He plans to continue his travels, stay home to walk with his wife Sharon and their dogs, tend the garden, and build Shaker furniture. A celebration is planned at the Lyons Community Center on Broad Street, on Nov. 15, from 6-9 p.m. Enjoy chicken and a pot-luck dinner; community center will provide the chicken and drinks; please bring a dish to pass and $5 (if possible).
