


Santa Parade in Williamson
Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus are coming to Williamson on Sat., Nov. 25. They will arrive by horse-drawn sleigh, accompanied by Frosty and Rudolph, at 11 a.m. The parade travels down Main Street (Ridge Road) and returns to the corner of Main St. and Rt. 21. There, Santa will light the town tree. The presentation of the Diann Roffe-Steinrotter award will be made to a local citizen who has made a significant contribution to Williamson, overcoming obstacles to achieve a goal.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will then go to the Orphix Hall, 2 doors south of the corner, to meet with the children. Treats have been provided by area merchants. Frosty and Rudolph will be available on Main Street to greet the children and for pictures.
Presentations of excerpts from each of their Christmas Cantatas will be performed by the East Williamson Free Methodist Youth Choir and the Williamson United Methodist Youth Choir.
In addition, the Main St. merchants will be offering special sales and promotionals. They will also begin their Holiday Lighting festival.
