Special service at Lyons church

On Sunday, December 3, First Presbyterian Church of Lyons is inviting friends and neighbors to 'Come Home For Christmas' in a special worship and fellowship. The worship service begins at 10 a.m. The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel, Pastor of the church will preach; her meditation is called 'He is Coming.' The Lord's Supper will be celebrated.

Following worship, the Membership and Evangelism and Worship Committees are co-sponsoring a dish-to-pass dinner. Everyone who plays an instrument is asked to bring it for an impromptu intergenerational band that will play Christmas carols.
