Marbletown school, Museum open house

The Arcadia Museum and Marbletown Schoolhouse will have Open Houses on Sunday, Dec. 3, from noon-5 p.m., as part of Wayne County's Museums Holiday Open House Tour.

About a dozen museums and historic buildings in Wayne County are taking part in the free tour, sponsored by the Office of Wayne County History.

The Marbletown Schoolhouse, on the corner of Miller and Marbletown Rds., will be decorated for the holidays. Many rural one-room school artifacts and books are on display.

The Arcadia Museum, 120 High St., Newark, will be decorated, including a display of C.H. Stuart Co. Christmas cards and special holiday brochures for employees and customers. Both locations will have refreshments.
