Newark Turkey Day Run draws 90

White and Bradshaw The 2000 Newark Turkey Day run saw an estimated 90 runners participate in cold and snowy conditions.

Dave Bradshaw of Fairport placed first overall with a time of 27:09, easily outdistancing the rest of the field. Melissa White was the overall winner among women with a time of 30:57.

Men

In the 14 and under age group Greg Seppeler placed first followed by Luke Oleksa and third place went to Ryan Daly at 37:15.

In the 15-18 age group Taylor Dalbager was first with a time of 30:01.

Tom Stuart was first in the 19-29 age group with Jimmy Addona placing second in 30:58. Eric Capstagno was third in the age group followed by Chad McNeil.

In the 30-34 age group Wes DeNering was first followed by David Weiman and Chris Washburn.

In the 40-44 age group John Caschi was first (31:28) followed by Dan Sackett and Ken Rowe.

In the 45-49 age group Bob Hamilton was first (31:23) followed by Dan Desmore and Brian Stuart.

In the 50-59 age group Ron Fleury was first, followed by Jim Palmeri and Jim Phillips.

In the 60-69 group Jack Coons was first and Charlie Osborne was second; Walter Connelly was first in the 70 plus age group.

Women

Emily Rodenhauser was first in the 14 and under age group.

In the 15-18 age group Amanda Leeuwen was first followed by Veronica Goebeyn and Christine Seppeler.

In the 19-29 age group Colleen McCusker was first at 33:29 followed by Jessica Sielawa and Julianna Hemmings.

In the 30-39 age group Cheryl LaTray was first followed by Kris Sergent and Barb Zappia.

In the 40-49 age group Donna Kouwe was first.

Helen Addona was first in the 50-59 group followed by Kathleen Duryea and Nancy Rohlin.
