Book sale at Lyons library

The Friends of the Lyons Public Library will hold their Annual Book and Bake Sale, October 18-21. The sale will be held at the Lyons Public Library, which is located at the corner of Phelps and Canal Streets. October 18 is opening night for MEMBERS ONLY of the Friends of the Library along with a Bake Sale from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

On October 19, the Book and Bake Sale will be open to the general public during regular library hours, noon to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9; October 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Saturday, October 21 there will be a $2 bag sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Prior to the sale, donations of books, videos, etc. may be left at the library during regular library hours.

There will be a VOLUNTEER sign up sheet for the Book and Bake Sale. You may choose what hours and chores you would care to do. Also, please sign up for donations of baked goods or to help with the Bake sale.
