Retreat Center at Arcadia bison farm

Crowfield Farm is five miles northeast of Newark, and has been home to a herd of North American Plains Bison since 1985. A neighboring farm was purchased recently and is available as a retreat and education center. Families, small groups or workshop leaders may reserve the house for day or overnight use. This quiet, five-bedroom, furnished farmhouse and adjoining farmland is available to persons, groups and businesses for the general purposes of:

connecting or communing with the natural world, including our selves

improving communications or relations among one another

uniting or re-uniting members of a family or other small group

hosting seminars or workshops which teach or practice kindness, caring, humility, justice fostering environmental awareness and care
