Broadway Banquet at Sodus church

The Sodus United Third Methodist Church is ready to present its Broadway Banquet.

On Saturday, October 21 at 8 p.m., the church dining hall will be transformed into a castle as stage for 'Prince B.B.'s Birthday Party.' An invitation is extended to the whole community.

Reservations are necessary to share in the celebration.

This annual October event involves the entire congregation in a show stopper production of song and humor set to entertain the entire family. Music from Annie, The King and I, Carousel and other Broadway musicals will fill the evening. Many in the church have designed wonderful costumes and the birthday scene will include Ladies-in-Waiting, Pirates, The King of Siam and his favored wives, Mrs. Anna, and a host of other guests and surprises.

The musical extravaganza, produced by church organist Donna Meneely and choir director Jean Baker, features a creative blend of original dialog and old familiar songs. This fun filled evening comes complete with a five-course 'birthday banquet.'
