Outstanding Lyons student, Emilie Hummel

Emilie Hummel is both a senior at the Lyons High School and a freshman at the State University of New York at Oswego. Hummel was admitted to Oswego through a special 'bridging' program that allows outstanding high school seniors to begin their college studies.

She was also selected to receive a Presidential Scholarship at Oswego for her excellent academic achievements.

Hummel spent six months of her junior year as an AFS Exchange student in Pecs, Hungary.

Emilie is the daughter of the Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel and Jon Hummel.
