E. Pal takes two of three games
A first in Newark, the Eagles played a newly-formed St. Michael's School soccer team this past Saturday and took the newcomers with an 8-0 score. Then, later in the week, after traveling to Hilton, the EPCS kickers fell to the stronger St. Paul Lutheran team 3-1, with the single EPCS goal scored by striker Matt Joyce (Newark). In the last game, the home-field Eagles took on the team from North Chili Christian and scored 3 unanswered goals. EPCS scorers were Matt Joyce, John Dingman, Max Dingman (all of Newark), and Jeremiah Van Dorp (of Marion). The Eagles finish off their 5-3-2 season with a match in Brockport against Christ Community School. Pictured: EPCS Eagles midfielder Kendra Kuperus, supported by fellow midfielder Jessica Van Halle.
