E. Pal takes two of three games

 Kendra Kuperus & Jessica Van HalleThe East Palmyra Christian School Eagles soccer team, under the direction of coach Michelle Haslund, went two and one this past week.

A first in Newark, the Eagles played a newly-formed St. Michael's School soccer team this past Saturday and took the newcomers with an 8-0 score.

Then, later in the week, after traveling to Hilton, the EPCS kickers fell to the stronger St. Paul Lutheran team 3-1, with the single EPCS goal scored by striker Matt Joyce (Newark).

In the last game, the home-field Eagles took on the team from North Chili Christian and scored 3 unanswered goals. EPCS scorers were Matt Joyce, John Dingman, Max Dingman (all of Newark), and Jeremiah Van Dorp (of Marion).

The Eagles finish off their 5-3-2 season with a match in Brockport against Christ Community School.
