Pet First Aid Course

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a Pet First Aid Course on September 11 and September 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Red Cross office at 165 East Union St. in Newark.

Pet First Aid for Cats and Dogs is a nationally recognized course, for which participants receive lifetime certification. The three-hour course includes: how to recognize an emergency; Standard First Aid techniques for your pet; and hands-on CPR practice for cats and small to large breeds of dogs.

The course costs $35 and includes a companion book entitled Pet First Aid Cats and Dogs. Class size is limited. To register or for more information, please call the American Red Cross at 331.3783.
