Calling all artists

A Call for Art is going out to all area artists to participate in the Wayne County Council for the Arts FINE ARTS AUCTION, to be held October 29, at the Garlock House in Palmyra.

The artists who donate work for the auction will have the option of setting a minimum selling price and determining the percentage to be donated to the Arts Gallery. This is the perfect chance for an artist to sell some work and feel good about giving some of the proceeds back to the gallery. Call 315.946.5078 to donate work.

This year, will feature an AUCTION PREVIEW at the gallery in Lyons. This gives everyone a chance to view the work that will be auctioned and to see how it fits into their decorating or Christmas giving schemes. The preview is scheduled October 8 - 27 and will be at the WCCA Gallery at 2 Broad St., Lyons.

Carol Ritter will donate her skills as auctioneer for the afternoon, which promises to be, a lot of fun, as well as a perfect opportunity to pick up some valuable work for reasonable prices.
