Harvest Run planned in Newark

On Saturday, September 30, Wayne ARC will sponsor a 5K run starting and finishing at the Roosevelt Children's Center on Peirson Ave. in Newark.

This run and walk will benefit the Recreation Program at Wayne ARC. An annual award will be given to a Wayne County graduating senior involved in the 'School to Work' Program at Wayne ARC.

The Harvest Run will begin at 10 a.m. with registration starting at 9. Anyone can participate, walkers and runners. Registration is $12 in advance and $15 on the day of the race.
