DDSO rummage sale in Newark

The Volunteer Services Advisory Council at the Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office will sponsor a rummage sale from 10 to 6 on April 19 and 20, and 10 to noon on Saturday, April 21. Location is 211 South Main St. in Newark.

As part of this fundraising project, a $6 per dinner chicken barbecue by Big John Bilotta will be held in the Breen's IGA parking lot on Saturday, April 21 from 11 to 4.

The sale will offer a variety of antiques, clothes, bicycles, a microwave, toys, furniture, household items, skis, and many great bargains. Proceeds will benefit people with developmental disabilities and the Everybody Rides Therapeutic Riding Program.

Donations, which are tax deductible, will be accepted until April 17. To arrange for pick up of your donation, call DDSO Volunteers at 331.1700.
