 The Leaning Barn is now open for the 20th year, at 3909 North Main Street in Marion! Hours are Sunday-Tuesday from 1 to 5; closed on Wednesday; Thursday to Saturday from 10 to 5. Other times by chance or call 926.5010.

Budd Haskins is recuperating after eye surgery.

A roast beef supper is set at the Legion Home on Witherden Road, next Friday, April 13. Adults $6; reduced prices for Senior Citizens and Children. Servings begin at 5.

'The older generation thought nothing of getting up at 5 a.m. The younger generation doesn't think much of it either.'

In celebration of Marion's birthday, the museum will be open on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments.

Bea Votra in Clyde is planning a bus trip to Music at Pocono Mountain. Included is a show - 'Sea Cruise' and buffet luncheon. Call her at 923.1056.

MARCH 27, 1941: Tumbling group of Marion High attended a playday at Sodus. Attending were Miss Vincella, physical director, Esther Haskins, Jean Boerman, Carol Cook, Arlene DeFisher, Elizabeth Petty and Helen Marion.

Second Reformed Church EASTER SUNDAY SERVICES:

7 a.m. Sunrise Service at the Town Park and 10 a.m. service at the church on Mill Street.

Harold and Eleanor Schoonerman have returned home following a month's stay at Myrtle Beach, SC. They had wonderfully warm and sunny weather. Their daughter, Lori, was able to visit and spend time with them while they were there.

Remember the Marion PTA Egg Hunt at the Marion Elementary School, April 7, 9-11.

Marion Dollars for Scholars Phone-a-thon will be April 9-11.

SPRING RECESS starts Friday, April 13.

A Spring Concert featuring the Elementary Stage Band as well as the Fifth and Sixth Grade Band, will be held April 10th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Elementary School. The Jazz Band will perform You'll be in My Heart from the Disney movie Tarzan, and Devil with the Blue Dress, a 60's rock and roll selection recorded by Mitch Ryder.

The grades 5&6 band will play a variety of styles from traditional marches to the popular Who Let the Dogs Out?
