Fair queen pageant April 27 in Marion
Thirty-five girls will compete on April 27 for the title of Wayne County Fair Queen and Fair Princess. The pageant starts at 7 p.m. at Marion High School, on Warner Road. There is no admission fee. The public is invited. Sally Thornton of WARM 101.3 will be the Emcee. Marion High School Show Choir will perform during the pageant. The contestants will be judged on evening gown, informal interview and speech. The winners will reign over the 2001 Wayne County Fair, August 13-18 in Palmyra. The Fair Queen contestants are: (seated) Leia Barkman, Christina Bennett, Brandy Pollot, Elizabeth Moll; (row ) Danielle Klaver, Stephanie Mouton, Kerri Sargent, Nicole Lootens, Ashley DeHollander. Candidate Jessica Bryant is not pictured.
