Myers Golf Classic set for August 20

Final preparations are being made for the ViaHealth of Wayne Foundation's 7th Annual Golf Classic, which will be held Monday, August 20 at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club.

Registration for the event begins at noon with a tee time of 1 p.m. and a scramble format. Registration fee is $100 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, on-course refreshments and a pig roast dinner.

Sponsorship levels are Corporate Sponsorship, Hole Sponsorship and Cart Sponsorship. Several on-course contests are being planned, including a Hole-in-One Competition sponsored by Joseph Neri Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Pontiac of Williamson; Closest-to-the-Pin contest sponsored by WCTA Federal Credit Union; and a Longest Drive contest sponsored by Govener Chevrolet-Pontiac-Oldsmobile-Buick of Wolcott.

Each golfer will receive a tee gift donated by ViaHealth of Wayne Foundation.

The Golf Committee members are: Stu Blodgett, Sally Billington, Joan Breed, Bill Bolling, Doug Doebler, Tim Gertz, Val Glatz, Mike Jordan, M.D., Dave Lagana, Max Muhleisen, Malcolm O'Malley, Frank Petrosino, Pradeep Saraf, M.D., Doug Taylor, Laurie Thomas, Bob Whitmarsh and Gordon Walker.
