New Food Closet in Fairville

Fairville Food Closet opened in July at the church on Route 88 North. Local contacts for making appointments are Gladys Tack, 331.3936 or Rose Schoenacker, 331.9425. Volunteers call the closet a 'Christian concern for neighbors in need.'

People living in the Fairville area, from the Sodus line to Newark line, between Lyons and Marion, may be eligible. People must get referrals from Social Services, the fire department or Red Cross in Newark (331.3783).
