Faith and Illness ministry forms in Newark

St. Michael Church of Newark announces the beginning of a new ministry.

The Faith and Illness Ministry will offer an opportunity to share your experience of dealing with illness in yourself, someone you love and/or care for. Through sharing and prayer, this group may find the strength to cope, the faith to discover where God is in illness or healing, and find comfort in knowing that others are experiencing similar fears and struggles.

This group is open to all Christian denominations and faith levels. Professional care givers as well as care receivers are encouraged to participate.

This will be the second Monday of each month, 7-8 p.m. at St. Michael Church Chapel (the North door entrance), 401 S. Main St. (Handicapped accessible)
