Barn open house at County Museum
Docents will conduct guided tours through the barn galleries. Exhibits include a well-stocked general store, the only remaining horse bridge from the original Erie Canal, early farm equipment, a collection of antique license plates, and maple sugaring, coopering, ice harvesting and leatherworking exhibits. The Museum and former Wayne County Jail will be open for tours. Refreshments, donated by the WCHS Board of Directors and Zappia Vending Service, Inc., will be served to guests. There is no admission for this public event, but donations are always appreciated.
