Area sportsmen finish skeet league

Members of Williamson Conservation & Sporting Club's Thursday night skeet league ended their 10-week run last week.

The league, created by Pat Skelly of Ontario, was to boost competition levels among the Thursday night shooters. In addition, $100 was raised and will be donated to the Community Center in Williamson. Members contributed $72 and the club an additional $28, rounding the total to $100.

Member's shot 3,600 targets over ten shoots. Scores are as follows:

  • Pat Skelly 366 Ontario
  • Bill Chappell 361 Williamson
  • Greg Hiller 357 Irondequoit
  • Jim Phillips 339 Williamson
  • Leo Skelly 333 Ontario
  • Dave Samuelson 315 Penfield
  • Bill Welker 281 Williamson

Since 1936 the Williamson Conservation & Sporting Club , has been an integral part of the Williamson community and is a community service organization that provides hunter education; safety training; a safe-shooting sports environment for practice and competition.
