Final Lighthouse Concert this week

The Sodus Bay Historical Society and Lighthouse Museum host their final concert of the season on Sunday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m.

Vic Plati and His Orchestra return with traditional and Big Band music for this free concert in the gazebo at the Lighthouse Museum, N. Ontario St., Sodus Point.

The old stone Lighthouse, dating back to 1870, will be open for tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on concert Sunday. Admission is free; donations are welcome.

Refreshments will be available. Visitors need only to bring their own lawnchairs or blankets to enjoy this outdoor concert in comfort.

The Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 31.
