Newark Garden Club awards luncheon

The Newark Garden Club will hold its Civic Beautification Award Luncheon on September 7 at noon, at Burnham's Canalside Restaurant at the Quality Inn.

Newark Garden Club encourages civic pride in the village community. The group recognizes business establishments which have done an outstanding floral landscape display in front of their businesses, thereby making the village visually pleasant. Each member is asked to bring a garden arrangement of flowers or vegetables.

A business meeting following lunch will be conducted by President Anne Crowley.
