The Roast Beef Suppers are starting up again, at the Marion American Legion Home on Witherden Road. The next one is scheduled for Friday, September 14.

Bill and Barb De Wandel, accompanied by other family members, enjoyed the Rochester International 2001 Marine Tattoo on Saturday August 25, at the Blue Cross Arena.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES! To Naomi Jackson on September 5, from her family and friends back in New York State.

The Finger Lakes Council is holding the annual School Night for Scouting on Thursday September 20. Boys in first through fifth grade can join Cub Scouts on this evening at the local elementary school. The program starts at 7 p.m. For more information call the Finger Lakes Council at 789.1166.

Rev. Ford and June Elliott and son Paul, of London, Ontario, were overnight guests of Stan and Isabelle Bushart last week. Later in the week, Jeff and Kenyon Marsh from Michigan, visited with the Busharts.

SCHOOL DAYS! Wednesday, September 5 is the first day of classes. School pictures for grades 7-12 will be taken. Modified Fall Sports practices begin.

'Best Wishes' to Doris VanHall on the occasion of her birthday on August 28.

Karissa DePoint presented the 'Ministry of Music' at the second reformed church on August 26.
