Visit Arcadia Museum & Marbletown Schoolhouse

The Arcadia Museum and the Marbletown Schoolhouse will have Open Houses on Sunday, December 2, from noon to 5. Admission is free.

Both the museum and schoolhouse will have special holiday decorations for the event. Many of the decorations at the Marbletown Schoolhouse have been made by pupils at Lincoln School in Newark.

Refreshments will be served.

The Arcadia Museum's exhibit, 'The C.H. Stuart Co.: From C.W. Stuart's Nursery to Sarah Coventry' continues through December 31. If you haven't seen this exhibit, spanning 120 years and three museum rooms, be sure and visit soon! Many other items and displays can also be viewed.

The museum is located at 120 High St. off South Main St.

The Schoolhouse is located at the corner of Marbletown and Miller Rds. (Silver Hill Rd. becomes Miller Rd.)

The Open House is part of the Wayne County Museum's Holiday Open House Tour, sponsored by the Wayne County Historian's Office. Museums in Palmyra, Lyons, Rose, Sodus Point, Pultneyville and Ontario will also be open. (See separate story.)
