Eureka Grange plans holiday event

Santa Claus will visit at this Friday's (Dec. 14) meeting of Eureka Grange. The supper and program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Please bring table service and some cookies. Traditional pancake and sausage supper will be served.

Following dinner a Christmas program is planned with lots of music and singing of carols. Guest musicians are Bryan Keysor and Mary Earlandt. Those wishing to participate in the gift exchange should bring a two dollar gift.

All are welcome to join in the fun and festivities. The Grange hall is located on the corner of Canal and Phelps Streets in Lyons.

At our last meeting, following a delicious harvest dinner, long-time membership awards were presented. Those present to receive awards were Karlyne Marsteiner, Virginia Peserak, Joe Sapp and Werter Cooney. Several members were unable to be present to receive their awards for 50 or more years of membership.
