February blood drives

Wayne County Chapter American Red Cross has scheduled eight community blood drives for February. Red Cross is looking to regular donors as well as those who have never donated blood. The blood shortage continues.

Anyone age 17 or older, in good health and weighing at least 110 pounds is urged to donate blood.

9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Red Creek Elementary School, South Street

Fri., February 9

2-7 p.m., Wolcott Baptist Church, New Hartford & Main Streets

Mon., Feb. 12

2-7 p.m., Western Presbyterian Church, 101 E. Main Street, Palmyra

Fri., Feb. 16

2-7 p.m., St. Michael's Church, Phelps St., Lyons

Mon., Feb. 19

2-7 p.m., Clyde Fire Department, 15 Ford Street

Fri., Feb. 23

2-7 p.m., Ontario Volunteer Emergency Squad, 6132 Furnace Rd.

Mon., Feb. 26

2-7 p.m., United Methodist Church, 4146 E. Main St., Williamson

Sat., Feb. 24

9 to 2, Church of The Epiphany, 105 W. Main St., Sodus
