Congratulations to Bill Bliek, who has made the Dean's List at St. Bonaventure University. He is a senior, majoring in finance.

Congratulations to Russell and Holli Doyle on the birth of a daughter, Emily Grace, at the Newark Hospital on January 30. Emily weighed 8 lbs. and 10 oz. and is 19 inches long. Proud grandparents are Bob and Judy Young, and Great-grandmother is Gen Devey.

Art Lent is home and feeling better following a hospital stay.

'After saying your prayers at night, you have to get up and do something the next day to make them come true.'

There's a pasta dinner tomorrow (Feb. 10), 4:30-6:30 at the United Church. Take-outs will be available. Proceeds will go to the Margaret Curtis Living Scholarship Fund, dedicated to subsidizing youth events. Adults: $5, Seniors: $4, Children 5-12: $3, Under age 5: Free.

Happy Birthday, Dan, on the February 9.

Special Birthday Wishes to Joe Bushart on the occasion of his 97th birthday on February 9. Joe is presently at the Country Home, 630 Curran Road, Shortsville, NY 14548. He recently fell and broke his right wrist.

FEBRUARY 10, 1917: No mail was received here Saturday owing to the blockade on the railway. Dewey Speers drove through Sunday returning with the mail.

Remember the Roast Beef Supper at the Marion American Legion Post Home this evening.
