Newark basketball players on Senior Night

The Varsity Lady Reds basketball team defeated the Geneva Panthers 68-30 on Senior Night, this past Monday.

The 2000-01 senior girls are Kara and Renee Williams, Kadi Burgess, April Allen and Lindsay George. (Click on photo at left to view larger image)

Kadi Burgess scored the 1000th point of her career during the game, with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Burgess is the second varsity Lady Reds player in school history to achieve this honor. LaTanya Parker is the other player who reached 1000 career points.
