Adult computer class in Lyons

The Lyons Public Library will hold a computer class called, 'Introduction to the Internet: Netscape for Beginners' on Tuesday, March 6 at 10 a.m. at the library.

This hands-on class will introduce beginners to what the Internet is; how to access it; how to use Netscape browser software; how to understand and use Internet addresses to get to web sites and how to navigate and use websites. The ability to use a computer mouse and curiosity about the Internet are the only pre-requisites.

Louise Smith, technology trainer for the Pioneer Library System, will teach the class. Registration is required and limited to 10 people.
