Breast Cancer group meets in Newark

The 'One of Eight' Breast Cancer Support Group will meet Saturday, January 13, in the Community Room at the Newark Public Library, 121 High Street. Coffee and socializing will be at 10:05 a.m. with the meeting starting at 10:30 a.m.

The meeting is open to all women in the greater Newark area who have or have had breast cancer ... women presently undergoing treatment, through women who are 30-year survivors.

The name of the group stems from the fact that one of eight women will, over the course of their lifetimes, have breast cancer.
