King service and dinner in Lyons

The celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will take place Monday, January 15 in Lyons.

A march from the County Courthouse starts at 12:15, going to the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (Spencer and Holly Streets). The service there will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., and will include featured speaker Kathy Costania of Cornell Cooperative Extension, a Diversity Training specialist in eight states. She is a former teacher and has 30 years of experience with Civil Rights and diversity training.

A dinner will be held following the service, at the Lyons Presbyterian Church, Queen Street at Broad.
