Newark Dragons swim at Pentathlon Invitational

Thirteen members of the Newark Dragons Swim Club competed on January 7 at the Webster Swim Association Pentathlon Invitational Meet.

Pictured is Cara Wilck, who won the second-place Pentathlon Award for age 10 and under. She competed in all five events.

Along with competing for individual event awards, the swimmers who swam all five individual events also competed for the Pentathlon Award. The swimmer who had the lowest sum time received a trophy. The second- and third-place swimmers received medals for having the next lowest sum time.

There were 16 swim teams with 297 swimmers from the Niagara District.
