Missing Sodus

When will the snow ever stop?! It gets so high that when you shovel, you have to throw it way up in the air to get it up on the snow bank! Every day the kids watch the weather to see if there will be a snow day. Much to their disappointment, they get ready, and the bus comes to pick them up.

It's been very quiet this week. Remember, if you have something fun to share please, let me know. You can write to me about anything! I need you to fill me on the goings on in Sodus and Wayne County, mgoodcooke@aol.com, I know everyone has been shoveling.

Diane Phillips, Granny Goodstory, has moved in to her 'Cottage' as she fondly calls it in Penfield. From her cottage she will be giving Fabric Crochet Basket-making lessons. I will let you know when she begins teaching from her new place. Sounds like it'll be a fun 'Granny Adventure.'

Have a great week, while we have this heat wave. When you're out doing errands, be sure to borrow some books from the libraries. It's a great way to keep the kids busy on those cold nasty days, they can only sled so much. Somewhere in the computer speaker, way off in the distance, the song 'Danny Boy' is coming through. Is it a message of some kind? I turn down the speakers so I don't wake anyone up so early in the morning. Sound comes out anyway, but from where?
