St. Michael's youth plan fundraisers

A French toast breakfast is planned for Sunday, January 21, from 8 to 12:30 in the church hall on South Main St., Newark. Tickets can be purchased from members of the youth group, or at the door, for $3. Meal includes French toast, sausage, coffee, juice and milk.

A 25-cents-a-dip dinner is planned for Saturday, February 3, at the church hall. Bring the family, and enjoy. Dinner will be available from 4:30-7 p.m., and will be served by the youth. (Feel free to tip the servers!)

Lenten Friday Fish Fry at St. Michael School begins on March 2 at 4 p.m. This take-out only meal will be sold from the school kitchen entrance every Friday through April 13. Dinner includes fish, potato salad, coleslaw and a roll.

Proceeds will help defray the costs of the National Catholic Youth Convention, and other youth events throughout the year. December 6-9, over 25,000 youths from the United States will meet in Indianapolis, for workshops, worship, and fellowship. The youth are looking for your support via fund-raisers throughout the year.

For more information, or to view the video on Youth Convention, contact Mary Dundas, Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Michael's Church.
