Women's travel club contest in Wolcott

Port Bay Travel, based in Wolcott, is sponsoring a contest to name its new women's travel club. Open to all women over 18, this competition has a grand prize of a $50 voucher toward any women's tour sponsored by Port Bay Travel in 2001.

What's in a name? Adventure, personal growth, self-renewal, fellowship, fun - this is the mission of the new women's travel club. The group needs a special name that captures the essence of this dream and the unique, accessible, and affordable travel opportunities it will offer to area women.

Entries will need the following information:

• Entrant's name, address, phone #, and e-mail address (if available)
• Entrant's proposed women's travel club name
• A short paragraph describing why that name was chosen
• A short paragraph describing what the entrant would like to see in a women's travel club, i. e. potential destinations, participation in the planning process, a chance to make new friends, etc.

Deadline for entries is February 28. Contest will be judged by Port Bay Travel staff and a winner will be announced March 16.
