Humane Society collection in Williamson

Williamson Girl Scouts are holding a collection day for the Wayne County Humane Society on Saturday, January 27, from 9 to 4 at Breen's IGA in Williamson.

Needed items are:

• Dry cat/kitten food;
• dry dog/puppy food;
• cat litter and litter scoops;
• clean, old blankets and towels which would be used as bedding for the animals.

Cash donations will also be accepted.

This was planned and organized by Stephanie Gowan, of Williamson Cadette Girl Scout Troop 247, as her Silver award project.
