County Fair queen applications ready

Wayne County girls or Wayne County 4-H members, ages 12-17, are eligible to compete for the 2001 Wayne County Fair Queen or Princess. The pageant will be Friday, April 27 at Marion High School.

The winners will reign over the 2001 Wayne County Fair, August 13-18 in Palmyra.

Applications are available at Wayne County School offices, Wayne County 4-H Office and Gerry Dekdebrun 926.4926. The Wayne County Fair Queen/Princess pageant allows young ladies to meet new friends and improve their public speaking and interpersonal skills.

Application deadline is March 2.
