Literacy volunteers needed

Are you interested in sharing and learning about different cultures? Have you ever considered living in a foreign country? If so, you might consider becoming an English as a Second Language Tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County.

ESL Tutors work with immigrants who wish to improve their English for a variety of reasons, including just getting by from day to day.

Literacy Volunteers is offering a workshop starting February 17 and running February 24 and March 3 for those who would like to become ESL Tutors. No foreign language experience is necessary, but it does take an open mind and a willingness to learn.

Tutors are needed now in Sodus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and in Newark at various times.
