County dealers move antique show

The Wayne County Antique Dealers Association has announced a new Newark location for its 32nd Annual Spring Show and Sale on Sunday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held Silver Hill Technology Park (formerly Stuart Park) on Route 88, just south of the village of Newark, with spacious display areas and parking.

The established show, previously held at the Newark Quality Inn, will feature 50 selected dealers, offering a wide variety of antiques, including furniture, china, glass, textiles, toys, bottles, jewelry, paper ephemera, postcards, country and Victorian accessories, primitives and more.There will be verbal antique appraisals from 1 to 3 p.m. ($4 each item) by Ed Cornwell, with a limit of four items per person. There will be glass restoration by Herbert Kopp all day. Refreshments will be available.

The donation is $2.50; those under 18 attending with an adult will be admitted free.
