Raising funds for Wayne County's Habitat for Humanity:

If you see the Habitat Playhouse in Sodus Point this weekend, don't forget to buy a raffle ticket.

Rose Methodist Church will be celebrating a third mile of pennies milestone on July 15 with a 3 mile walk, lunch and desserts. Show your support by attending and don't forget to bring pennies!

The 9th annual golf tournament takes place on Monday, July 16. There's still time to sign your team up, or to pledge a hole or golf cart. Call for more details. This year, the tournament takes place at the Wayne Hills Country Club in Lyons.

Applications for the Wolcott home are being accepted through July 27. Applicants must meet income guidelines and eligibility requirements and provide sweat equity. Habitat for Humanity will hold a 30-year, no-interest mortgage, the proceeds of which will fund other houses in Wayne County. For an application, or further information:
