Marion GOP plans caucus

The Town of Marion Republican Committee is preparing for the 2001 Republican Caucus. The Caucus will be held September 6. The positions to be determined are Town Supervisor, two as Town Council, Town Justice, Town Clerk, and Town Highway Superintendent.

The Committee is requesting that all persons interested in running for a position at the 2001 Republican Caucus submit in writing a short letter of intent, stating the position/positions they are seeking. Letters may be submitted to any Committee Member, but must by submitted no later than August 1, 2001.

The Town Republican Committee members are: Carol Kens, Paul Bender, Martha Rich, Carl Taylor, LaVerne Bleik, Susan Taylor, Mark Wyman, and Jody Bender.

All interested will be contacted to review caucus rules at a candidate's meeting, to be held later in August.
