Ice Cream Social, concert at Lyons church

There will be a free concert on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons, on Sunday, July 29 from noon to 3 p.m. And during the fundraising concert, you can enjoy some ice cream.

The concert will feature the folk group, 'Harmony With Nature.' The concert is a benefit for the Lyons Lunch Program and the Lyons Food Pantry. Admission is free, but concert goers are asked to bring a can of food, or non-perishable food item to the event. Folks are invited to pack a picnic lunch, and to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on.

In the event of rain, the concert will move inside. The Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Queen and Broad Streets. For more information, please call Pastor Cynthia at 946.4723.
