What a nice end to the week - the cool air feels good after all the heat.

We went to the car show in Syracuse last weekend. The car owners are quite friendly and love to talk about their 'babies.' There will be an Antique and Classic Car Show tomorrow at the Sodus Carnival grounds. If you have time, and you like cars, you should stop by.

Also in Sodus this weekend is an Arts and Crafts Festival at the WCTA property.

Tonight, there's another Sunset Concert at the Old Lighthouse. From 7-9 p.m., instructors from Turning Point return for more instruction with another dance band. The museum will be open from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for sunset viewing. (Raindate for this concert is Friday, Aug. 3. )

Also on Sunday, there will be a 10:30 a.m. Anniversary Mass for Ernie and Mary Piekunka at the Church of the Epiphany. If you can't make it to mass, stop by the Parish Center afterwards (about 11:30) for coffee and a doughnut. Happy 50th Anniversary to the Piekunka's.

On August 1, you can try a new craft at the Williamson Library. All ages are welcome to create sand art or take a mini-aquarium class. And for all the young ladies, there's a free make-up class and facial.
