Gary the Happy Pirate coming to Williamson Set sail on a new adventure at 2 p.m. on August 8 at the Williamson Public Library with GARY THE HAPPY PIRATE! Gary is the singer-songwriter star of his own weekly television show, The Adventures of Gary The Happy Pirate, and an award-winning live concert and recording artist. For the past six years, Gary and his wise-cracking sidekick puppet buddy, Yo Ho, have been performing concerts throughout the Northeast. Leading his audiences through sing-alongs and dancing, combining humor and child-centered themes, Gary pulls out all the stops to put on a fun-filled concert geared for the entire family. Gary founded a non-profit organization called Pirate Toy Fund that provides toys to hospitalized children in his hometown of Rochester. The organization is growing and plans to expand to other cities in the near future. The library also invites all guests to stay for refreshments after the show in celebration of a wonderful reading journey this summer
