North Rose-Wolcott kids raise $ for Habitat

The North Rose -Wolcott Interact club held a sock hop to benefit Habitat for Humanity's Wolcott home. Wolcott's house fund is nearly $900 richer thanks to the club's efforts!

Interact is a high school club sponsored by the Wolcott Rotary Club that is dedicated to improving the community. Thanks to all who participated and sponsored them.

Habitat for Humanity is celebrating 25 years of commitment to providing decent, affordable housing all over the world. HFH has built over 100,000 houses, providing over half a million people with homes of their own. Habitat for Humanity's goal is to eliminate substandard housing throughout the world, one family at a time. Families provide sweat equity and pay a 30-year no interest mortgage for the cost of the home. Habitat for Humanity uses the proceeds from these mortgages to build new houses throughout the world. There are 4 houses scheduled for completion in Wayne County this year, bringing the total to 17.
