Kids Korner Market in Newark

A 'Kids Korner Market' is planned at the Newark Farmers' Market at the Cooperative Extension center, Route 88, just north of Newark. The special days for Kids Korner are Thursdays, June 14 and 21, from 3-4 p.m.

Bring your children for fun adventures with food, stories, crafts and much more. The gazebo will feature special presentations of in-season fruit and vegetable dishes for you to sample.

There will be nutrition information about your favorite foods and a Nutrition Education Assistant to help answer any questions you may have. Also free recipes, some new, some old, for you and your family to enjoy.
